HYPNOTHERAPY is a technique whereby a hypnotist practices hypnosis on an individual to help one with a myriad of health and personal issues. A Hypnotherapy session can help one to quit smoking, change dietary habits, help with irritable bowel syndrome, stop substance abuse and alcoholism, help relieve pain, relieve stress, help with motion sickness, help with insomnia, and aid with phobias.

Hypnotherapy is a catalyst for gaining a state of relaxation and a higher state of awareness. In hypnotherapy, a hypnotherapy therapist will suggest or express ideas so the client can obtain recall with ease; thus creating a heightened sense of awareness. Hypnotherapy can work but the client must have a conscious desire to "want to" change.

Through a hypnotherapy session, a person becomes totally relaxed but not asleep. One is completely aware of all that is happening with him/her, as well as his or her environmental surroundings. Hypnotherapy, in other words, is the realm somewhere between being conscious and subconscious.

Hypnotherapy may be able to help you or someone you know with a range of issues. If you would like to find out about hypnotherapy, perhaps one of our practicing hypnotherapists may be able to assist you.
